The Department of Neurology, Division of Cerebrovascular Diseases & Neurocritical Care at The Ohio State University is seeking 2 fellowship trained and board certified/board eligible Vascular Neurologist to join our growing team. We are looking for candidates with interests in acute stroke management, neuroimaging, and telestroke. Additional Neurocritical Care Training and experience is a plus.

Our Comprehensive Stroke Center is a national leader in stroke care and research, and a hub for expert emergency cerebrovascular care at hospitals throughout Ohio. The Stroke team supports a growing telestroke network to provide 24/7 coverage for affiliated hospital emergency departments. In addition to our expanding telestroke needs, stroke imagining is an area of great interest.

Ohio State’s Neurological Institute was one of the first medical centers to integrate the departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroscience, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Psychiatry and Behavioral Health into a comprehensive neuroscience-related program. Our program includes four hospitals, 10 outpatient ambulatory care centers and a neuroscience research institute with NIH-funded NeuroNEXT and NETT centers. Today, our Neurological Institute has more than 170 faculty members responsible for over 11,000 inpatient admissions, over 222,000 outpatient visits, and over 4,000 surgeries. The Institute is investing in expansion, with plans for an 80 bed Brain and Spine Hospital to open in the Fall of 2016 and continued recruitment of neuroscience specialists.
