Tampa, Florida – Seeking a part time Intensivist physician



Join an established Intensivist team at Florida Hospital Tampa as we continue to grow! We are looking for physicians who are interested in working with us on a permanent part time basis. The number of monthly shifts will depend on what works for you and the team. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced physician to join a well-balanced multi-disciplinary team in a faced paced high acuity program.

  • 475 bed hospital, tertiary hub of a 5 hospital network, part of the Adventist Health System

  • Established 7 physician team with 3 advanced practice providers

  • 36 bed medical/surgical ICU; 9 bed CCU and 8 bed CTICU

  • Full Sub-specialty Support

  • 24/7 on-site coverage



Education, Training & Experience Required





  • MD or DO

  • Must be Board Certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine.

  • Eligible to work in the United States. Not a J1 visa qualified area.

  • Ability to work as a team member

  • Must have a commitment to excellence in clinical service, be forward thinking and demonstrate problem solving abilities necessary in this environment

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting
