Within the year, EMMC will begin a $10 million renovation project within Emergency Services. EMMC has an ED Collaborative with four of our system community/critical access hospitals.
This physician leader will serve three distinct roles:
· Lead Physician for EMMC Emergency Medicine. As the Lead Physician for the ED Collaborative, the selected candidate will oversee the functions of EDs in the collaborative working with onsite leadership at each location.
· Chief of Service. Responsibilities include making recommendations for privileging emergency medicine medical staff, ensuring adherence to medical staff by-laws, and developing/implementing an Emergency Medicine quality improvement plan.
