Job Description & Requirements
Emergency Medicine - Level 2 - (ER - Level 2) Locum Tenens
o Emergency Medicine/Family Practice/Internal Medicine Physicians are considered
o Board Certified/Eligible
o 7 - 30 days credentialing
o 26,000 annual volume (Lvl 4 trauma - 24 bed ED)
o 8,000 volume Free Standing ED in Sedona, AZ has needs as well (12/24 hour shifts avail)
o Physician shift: 7a-7p, 7p-7a (double coverage)
o Mid-level shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 10a-10p (Sun, Mon, Tue, Fri)
o Fast Track Coming Soon
o Will respond to codes and write bridge orders only
o All backup specialties
o Cerner EMR
o Paid travel, lodging
o Will license while credentialing
Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
