Dermatologist - Physician - (Dermatology) Locum Tenens
Group in northern California is in need of a locums dermatologist to provide supplemental clinic and call help for a maternity leave of absence that is coming up in January. Locums will see 20-25 patients per day, M-Thu schedule. Please contact Staff Care for more information.
The field of dermatology(locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the skin, such as acne, rashes, and warts, as well as various types of skin cancer. A dermatologist assesses their patients' condition and medical history, performing minimally invasive diagnostic tests. In terms of treatment, dermatologists prescribe preventive medications such as topical ointments or creams and perform surgical procedures when necessary, such as in the removal of tumors or suspicious moles.
