Cardiologist - Non-Invasive - Physician - (Cardiology - Non-Invasive) Locum Tenens
A central Tennessee hospital is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage beginning as soon as possible until a permanent physician is found. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8a-5p with overnight call each night and 24 hour call every other weekend. A non-invasive cardiologist (locum tenens) works in a non-surgical context to prevent and diagnose potential heart problems. These physicians typically run office-based practices and perform principally diagnostic tests to identify heart problems early on. When possible, non-invasive cardiologists will prescribe medication to treat cardiovascular issues, but will refer the patient to another specialist when necessary.
