Cardiologist - Non-Invasive - Physician - (Cardiology - Non-Invasive) Locum Tenens
A North-central Wisconsin medical center is in need of General Cardiology locums coverage for hospital rounding/consults and call beginning in March 2017. Schedule is Monday - Sunday 7am - 5pm with call 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month. Candidates must be proficient with EKG's & Echo's and can work up to 2 weeks in a row if available. A non-invasive cardiologist (locum tenens) works in a non-surgical context to prevent and diagnose potential heart problems. These physicians typically run office-based practices and perform principally diagnostic tests to identify heart problems early on. When possible, non-invasive cardiologists will prescribe medication to treat cardiovascular issues, but will refer the patient to another specialist when necessary.
