A Medical Center in Southern Wisconsin is in need of Interventional Cardiology coverage from May - July in 2017. Candidates will work an 8 hour day and share call with the group. Cath Lab procedures required. Please contact a Staff Care consultant for more details!
An interventional cardiologist (locum tenens) is an internal medicine physician who has subspecialized in cardiology, which treats disorders of the heart. Interventional cardiology procedures tend to be minimally invasive (or "open") operations that involve catheterization. Interventional cardiologists make use of treatments such as balloon angioplasty, pacemakers and stents to achieve the desired results.
