Cardiologist - Interventional - Physician - (Cardiology - Interventional) Locum Tenens
Hospital located in the Seattle/Tacoma area is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for coverage ongoing.. The community is surrounded by parks and lakes. Physicians must be board certified The shifts will be one week and two weekends per month. The EMR is EPIC.
An interventional cardiologist (locum tenens) is an internal medicine physician who has subspecialized in cardiology, which treats disorders of the heart. Interventional cardiology procedures tend to be minimally invasive (or "open") operations that involve catheterization. Interventional cardiologists make use of treatments such as balloon angioplasty, pacemakers and stents to achieve the desired results.
