Full-Time or Part-Time Physician Assistant (PA) wanted for a hospital owned outpatient primary care practice approximately 45 minutes northwest of Albany, NY. Licensed PAs with a minimum of two years of full time experience working as a PA will be considered. This position is available immediately.
The Primary Care PA will:
Deliver outpatient primary care to weekend patients to ensure optimal outcomes, and/or provide telephone call hours for designated night hours throughout the week.
Days / Hours / Compensation / Benefits*:
Full Time Option:
8-10 hour primary care shift on both Saturday and Sunday with an occasional weekend off and on call (telephone based only) Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday night and Saturday/Sunday night.
Call hours are not onerous and the PA will be backed up by the physician on call.
Part Time Options:
A. Weekend 8-10 hour daytime office shifts only
B. On call telephone hours only
C. A combination of the weekend office shifts every other weekend, plus some or all of the telephone call hours.
