We have IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Full-Time posts in Fresno, CA

OMNI WOUND PHYSICIANS is a young, dynamic medical practice who specializes in mobile wound care and feeding tube management and replacement services at the bedside. Our goal is to provide better patient outcomes in wound healing and reduce costs for the entire healthcare system and decrease potentially unavoidable hospitalizations by managing patients in the home-bound setting: Skilled Nursing, rehabilitation centers and at the patient’s residence.

Our practice has significantly doubled in size in the previous year and given the explosion of the baby boomer / geriatric population as well as the increasing prevalence of wounds associated with unhealthy lifestyle choices and the growing diabetic population, we are looking to expand more next year, both in size and geographical reach.

Responsibilities:

  • Chronic wound management: Evaluation and assessment, diagnosis, treatment, including debridement of wounds and application of appropriate dressings.
  • Gastric feeding tube replacement services.
  • Communication with the patient’s PCP, nursing staff, patient, and family members.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Wound care experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Surgical background preferred but not mandatory.
  • Unrestricted California Medical License required.
  • Master of Science (minimum level of education)
  • Licensed MD/DO/PA/NP
  • Written and verbal communications skills (computer skills necessary)
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to learn, teach and manage others.
  • Be a team player.
