Job details:

• BC General Surgeon with Wound Surgery and Hyperbaric Medicine experience
• New Multi-Place Center for Hyperbaric Medicine
• Responsible for the performance and application of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to chronic non-healing wounds and all accepted indications for Hyperbaric Medicine Dedicated Outpt/Input NP and PA support staff in place
• Experience in pathogenesis; pathology; risk factors; natural history; diagnosis by history, physical examination and laboratory methods; medical and surgical management, complications and prevention of chronic non-healing wounds, (including neuropathic, ischemic, pressure, venous, calciphylactic, iatrogenic and other causes)
• Surgical procedures include debridement, management of necrotizing soft tissue infections, and wound closure including skin grafting, use of skin substitutes, flap techniques, delayed closure, and minor and major amputations
• Two-year guaranteed salary, then production-based, 4 weeks’ vacation to start; 2 weeks CME, $5,800 CME annual allowance, generous relocation allowance
