Our client located on the Mid Atlantic Coast is in need of Locum Tenens coverage for their Wound Care program! This will the opportunity to cover as a Locum Tenens among a very well organized team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses. While covering at their Wound Care facility you will be responsible for Wound Healing/HBOT program as well as Diabetes Management. Having Hyperbaric experience is a must! The Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine program is a patient-centered community with a team approach and excellent healing outcomes. Typically, 150 to 200 patients are seen on a weekly basis with a variety of wounds, including venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries and non-healing surgical wounds. Many of these are very difficult-to-heal wounds due to a variety of conditions, including diabetes, diet, cancer and blood disorders. The treatment plan for hyperbaric oxygen therapy patients ranges from six to 10 weeks. Each nurse on site has taken a 40-hour course on Hyperbaric Medicine to become as educated and efficient as possible for the clinic!

-Staffing mix: 1 Part time physician, 1 full time Nurse Practitioner, Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Director with a Nurse Practitioner background in Wound Care Medicine.

-Hour of operation: Monday-Friday from 8:00 and – 5:00 pm

-Requirements: Must be certified/experienced in Hyperbaric

-Interview/credentialing: Phone screening and 30-60 days towards credentialing

-Licensing: Delaware, we will assist with the licensing process if you are not actively licensed.
