Immediate Need for Urologist in the Central Valley Region of Central CA
Opportunity: The health system is actively recruiting for a general Urologist to join an established practice. This is an immediate need and practicing and new grads are being considered equally. If you are trained in robotics, big plus! Subspecialty interests are ok. Very good patient volume with an established referral base. Call is 1:4 and there is zero ED call. If you choose to do it, you are handsomely rewarded! You will earn $500 PER encounter. There is no other Urology practice within a 50-mile radius so you will be a success from day one!
Compensation: Employed, $315k - $400k base salary with a 2 year income guarantee and amazingly generous wRVU! $15,000 annual quality bonus, stipend available, $500 per encounter for elective ED call, sign-on bonus and relocation allowance. Benefits include: employer-paid healthcare for physician and eligible dependents, 401(k) with annual employer lump sum contribution AND matching ($1 on every $2 up to 6%) after one year. They can contribute to 401(k) from day one.
Location: The Central Valley of CA - this is a very friendly and welcoming community. It is also home to a University of California campus that is in the process of establishing a medical school. This area of CA has been growing in popularity in part because of the wide variety of lifestyles available. You can choose to live in a ranch style home on a large acreage or for a more suburban feel choose a newly developed planned community. In either case it is all very affordable. Being centrally located to so many CA hotspots has its perks, too. You will be a couple hours drive to Yosemite, San Francisco, or the beautiful coastlines of Monterey. With an expanding population of over 80,000 it has attracted a large number of physicians in recent years. They know that living and practicing medicine here is the BEST of both worlds: close proximity to all the amenities of large metropolitan areas, affordability, low stress environment, family oriented and excellent medical community and facilities. The city boasts its own orchestra and theater company and is host to a variety of festivals throughout the year. In addition, there are many golf courses and more than 12 miles of class-one, grade-separated bike paths. Clean air, wide open spaces, affordablity, great schools, low traffic, first rate amenities, excellent medical care and health system, its all here!
