Job Description

Last Update: 6/30/20

Incredible employed opportunity ready for the right physician to walk into an established practice and see patients right away. Join another experienced urologist to a community with only one independent, not for profit medical center in town and no other urology practices. We cover 20 counties in west central Nebraska (service area of 120,000 people) so we have a strong market for a physician who wants a collegial medical staff and administration and a good quality of life living in a smaller but progressive community of 25,000.

Robotics available.

Three year generous income guarantee shifting to productivity and quality compensation after three years (or sooner if you decide). Call is 1:3 (10 days/month); compensated for additional call. Low malpractice and lower cost of living than big cities. Easy 3 1/2 hours driving to international airport in Denver or utilize the local regional airport with daily flights to Denver. Great schools and lots of activity for kids in a safe family friendly community.

FACILITY INFORMATION

We are a fully independent and accredited, 116-bed acute care regional medical center serving west central Nebraska, northern Kansas and southern South Dakota. With 90 physicians representing nearly 30 medical specialties, our health system offers advanced healthcare including heart and vascular, cancer and orthopedic surgery services. We are a level III trauma center with all of its emergency room physicians board certified in emergency medicine.

We recently completed a $100 million building project designed to create a safe environment for patients and an efficient environment for staff. Features include new spacious private rooms, new conference facilities and café and the latest technology including the Get Well Network, an interactive device that improves communication between staff and patients.

The system employs more than 1000 employees and serves a geographic area spanning approximately 16,000 square miles. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and is home to an American College of Surgeons’ accredited cancer center and level 2 bariatric surgery program.
