Job Details:

  • 173-bed acute care hospital
  • Level IV Trauma Center
  • This location has most specialties, including: General Surgery, GI, Pulmonology, Urology, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Neurology, Oncology, Psychiatry, Hospitalist program and more.
  • We currently have one Urologist on staff.
  • They do primarily “bread and butter” cases, cystoscopy, lase lithotripsy, some nephrectomies and ESWL.
  • We have a 11-bed open ICU
  • 3 Endoscopy Suites
  • 4 Operating Rooms
  • We trialed the Da Vinci a few years back, but it was not used very much by our physicians while we had it. It might be something we would consider in the future however.
  • Our physicians share moderate call (on average 10 days or so a month), have block scheduled time in the OR and designated clinic days.
  • Our physician office building is located adjacent to the hospital, so it is very convenient to round on your patients and such before clinic. It is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity, so we would provide your malpractice coverage, clinic staff, etc.
  • Medical students from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and Lincoln Memorial University do rotations at this campus.
