Urologist to join group in Scranton/Wilkes Barre, PA area, H1/J1 OK
Location: Charming historic city located in northeastern PA is just 40 minutes to Scranton, PA. It has a draw population of over 100,000, great schools rated in top 10% in state, international airport, five colleges and universities, and serves as the center of business and industry for northeastern Pennsylvania. It is a vibrant community with inviting shops and restaurants, exciting festivals and farmers markets, county fairs, music venues, diverse recreation, and friendly people. It is a very historic setting dominated by Victorian age architectural treasures, tall church steeples, and a pre-Civil War era history. Historic Main Street highlights the best of Wayne County Pennsylvania and is full of small town charm and all the beauty of the Pocono Mountains.
Opportunity: Health system is adding another Urologist to their staff. Doable call schedule of 1:3 for unassigned patients including the ER. There are 4 new OR suites just added. Plenty of patients, good work life balance and very collegial medical community. Referrals are there so you will be a success from day one!
Compensation: Hospital employed with base salary and wRVU and quality incentives. The compensation package is very competitive. There is a sign-on bonus, school loan assistance, visa sponsorship available (HPSA site H-1 or J-1) and excellent benefits plan to include health, retirement, PTO, CME and relocation.
