We are looking for an energetic physician (M.D. or D.O.) with a strong clinical acumen and an excellent bedside manner to join our team a brand new or existing Philadelphia location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing the highest quality patient care
  • Managing all patient care at the center
  • Ordering and reading all diagnostic x-rays and labs
  • Ensuring medical staff follows proper protocols and conducts patient call backs
  • Ensuring pharmacy and CLIA approved laboratory compliance with regulations
  • Ensuring accuracy of ICD-10 codes
  • Ensuring all charts and medical records are accurately completed in a timely manner
  • Ensuring patients are discharged with detailed instructions
  • Adhering to all center policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Board-certified/board-eligible by the American Board Family Medicine in:
  • Family Medicine, or*
  • Emergency Medicine, or*
  • Urgent Care, or*
  • Internal Medicine/Pediatrics*
  • At least three years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine
  • Active and current medical license in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Active and current Federal DEA number Active and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active and current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification a plus
  • Active and current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications a plus
  • Familiar with occupational medicine and travel medicine
  • Comfort and experience treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Clinical ability to suture lacerations, set minor fractures, drain abscesses, and read x-rays
  • Effective and compassionate communicator with staff, patients and family
  • Willingness to mentor clinical staff
  • High-energy individual with a professional appearance and attitude
  • Team-player able to multi-task effectively
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with electronic medical records
