Medical Director, Urgent Care in the San Gabriel Valley

Our client, one of the largest and fastest growing physician organizations in Southern California has a leadership opportunity for their Urgent Care locations.

As a member of the Clinical Leadership Team, the Medical Director will provide oversight for Urgent Care medical operations.

Collaborating with high performing clinical teams, the Medical Director will ensure quality of care, timeliness of care, and optimization of resources. Our client offers a more fluid, nimble environment. This is an organization where you can make your mark, make a difference, and effect change.

Specifics:

• Full-time, permanent opportunity
• Monday – Friday schedule, no weekends
• Position offers 20% Administrative and 80% Clinical responsibilities
• Supervises and mentors a collaborative team of physicians and mid-level providers

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Eligible/Board Certified
• Active and unrestricted California medical license

Experience:

• Urgent Care, Primary Care, or Emergency Department experience required
• Prior experience in a managed care setting preferred
• Knowledge of Quality Outcomes, Utilization Management, Medical Management
• Prior experience leading clinical staff in a Clinic or Urgent Care setting preferred
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
