TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine physician to join a hospital-owned Urgent Care facility an hour South of Raleigh, NC. We seek a skilled and experienced physician who is comfortable with being the solo provider and who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.

Schedule/Facility Details:

  • Hours of operation: M-F 8am-5pm
  • Excellent work-life balance – no overnight shifts or weekends

Job Details

  • Treat a wide range of medical issues from infancy through adulthood
  • Order and interpret basic diagnostic studies, including lab work
  • Order and perform routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, and sutures
  • Assess work injuries, onsite X-ray – perform working readings with radiologist looking behind
  • Coordinate care with other medical professionals
  • Assist with training, orientation and clinical support for new providers, advance practice providers and clinical support staff

Provider Requirements:

  • NC DEA license
  • Board Certification
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine and Acute care preferred
  • Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients preferred
  • Comfort level with removing foreign objects from body parts
