AFC Urgent Care Narberth provides our neighbors with high quality care at a very affordable price. AFC Urgent Care can diagnose and provide treatment for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses. We offer a convenient, lower-cost alternative to visiting a traditional hospital emergency room. Our staff includes physicians, x-ray technicians and medical assistants. We strive to not only provide high quality care, but also a very positive experience. When patients visit our facility, they are greeted by very friendly and professional front desk staff and wait in our comfortable lounge. We also have state of the art equipment onsite, including x-ray and a lab. We do as much as possible in house so patients do not need to leave and visit a second location.

Job Summary
To provide high quality care of all patients. To assist in directing staff in the support of the care of our patients.
The Primary Job location is Narberth, PA (19072)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high quality patient care.
- Manage all patient care while on shift.
- Supervise all staff while on shift.
- Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed and correctly documented in a timely fashion.
- Process biological specimens when needed.
- Ability to manage the various facets of supervising a busy medical practice – ensure proper follow-up, perform chart review, and ensure all policies are followed.
- Ensure the center has the necessary equipment, supplies, and medications to appropriately treat patients.
- Assist in Interview, hire and training of new providers and staff.
- Compile QA data and address with staff providers as needed.
- Oversee Occupational Health and Travel Medicine Programs
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Board Certified/Board Eligible – Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (w/ER or UC experience)
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Active and current medical licensure in Pennsylvania
- Active and current DEA number and state controlled substance certificate, as needed
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
Physical Demands/Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
