Optum is looking for a full-time Urgent Care Physician to join our team in Glendora. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume.

Just a 30 minute drive to downtown Los Angeles, Glendora and its surrounding areas have much to offer in terms of education, recreational activities, and culinary diversity, without the typical hustle & bustle of a large metropolitan city. Choose to live in Arcadia, for example, and you'll find yourself both at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains and inside the perimeter of a nationally renowned school district! Alternatively, opt to live in Pasadena and take advantage of weeknight strolls through beautiful Colorado Boulevard or weekend drives to The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens right next door, in San Marino.

Position Details

• Join two Physician and two NP/PA Providers at our Glendora Urgent Care Center!

• Work six, 12-hour shifts per two-week pay period (options for block scheduling and additional shifts, position is .9 FTE)

• Avg about 2 patients per hour

• Urgent Care hours are 8am-8pm, 7 days per week

• Onsite Lab, X-Ray, procedure rooms

• Opportunity to develop into Leadership Role

Requirements

• Unrestricted CA Medical License

• Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date

• At least 1 of experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care

• Ability to work weekend shifts as needed

• Residency training in either Family or Internal Medicine
