New Urgent Care Center located in Ossining, NY is looking to hire a Physician/MD to work full-time. Start date is projected to be January-February 2019. Physician must be energetic and compassionate and must be willing to provide care to patients of all ages including pediatric patients (ages 2+) and adult patients including women’s/men’s health care needs.

We are conveniently located in the Arcadian Shopping Center, Westchester County, New York. We are minutes from Scarborough Metro-North train station.

At Immediate Medical Care MD, we are focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities include:

• Physicians need to be fully capable of urgent care visits and are expected to thoroughly take care of urgent care patients in all capacities.

• Applicant must be capable of providing comprehensive urgent care

• Ensuring that the patient’s medical chart entries are made in a timely matter.

• Ensuring that the patient’s medical chart entries are made accurately, meticulously and are completed within a maximum of 24 hours of the patient’s visit. It is preferable that all chart entries are made prior to completion of the physician’s shift.

• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with physicians, specialist, staff and co-workers.
  

Education/Experience/License/Certificates/Registration and Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Candidates must be board certified, well-trained and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• NYS Medical license is required.

• Medical Degree/MD required

• DEA certification is required.

• BLS & ACLS certifications is required. PALS certification is a plus and must be obtained within three months of hire.

• Candidates must have the ability to build rapport with patients, have strong attention to details and strong leadership qualities.

• Previous experience as a physician, surgeon or other medical fields is a plus

• Training in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine and/or Urgent Care experience preferred.

• Applicants should have excellent bedside manner, customer service skills, and respect for all patients and clinical staff support.

• Applicants should have the ability to work all shifts as needed and the ability to work evening hours and weekends.

• Must have previous experience with an EHR and EMR system.

• Bilingual in other languages is a plus, but not required.

• Employment physical exam clearance will be required prior to starting, including recentPPD/QuantiFERON from the last 6 months.

Compensation/Salary& Benefits will commensurate with experience and will be discussed. However, applicant can expect the pay to be between $160,000-$205,000, plus a competitive benefits package (including health insurance and dental insurance) and pension plan. There is a potential for bonuses as well.
