Urgent Care Physician needed in Virginia (2 hours west of Richmond)
This is a locum tenens assignment but client may be looking for perm in the future.
Need help starting ASAP - Ongoing.
Clinic is open 8:30am to 7:00pm. Can work a flexible 8 hour shift in between these hours.
Average of 16 patients per 8 hour shift.
Client will have an average of 25 shifts open each month. Would like a candidate who can pick up at least 12 per month but they will consider part time and sporadic availability as well.
Duties: Primary care for uninsured, underinsured, Medicaid and Medicare population.
Procedures: Skin/Tissue biopsy; incision and drainage; suturing and minor lacerations.
Charting: Allscripts EMR
Must be comfortable seeing all ages: 90% adults; 10% peds
Will need to get credentialed at local hospital.
Travel and lodging will be paid for.
