Job Description & Requirements
Urgent Care Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular 8;12

  • Need: 12-20 shifts a month at various clinics
  • Schedule: Flexible; clinic hours 7:30a - 7 pm or 8 pm
  • Volume: Slower clinics average near 30 patients in a 12 hour day, busier clinics are in the upper 30's to low 40's in a 12 hour day
  • Patient Age Range: we see down to 3 months old and up
  • Cases: The most common diagnosis relates to various respiratory tract infections such as URI, ear infections, pharyngitis, strep throat, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
  • Procedures: Simple procedures such as laceration repair and incision and drainage of abscesses.
  • We do work-related injuries, employer services such as pre-employment physicals
  • EMR: Velocidoc

Required Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Urgent Care physicians as well as Board Certified Primary Care physicians (family medicine, internal medicine, general practitioners) with Urgent Care experience.
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Acute Cardiac Life Support Certification
  • Must be willing to see ages 3 months and up
