Summit Urgent Care is a family owned practice started in Newnan, GA with a focus on excellent medical care and an excellent patient experience. Over the past 7 years, this focus has allowed Summit to see excellent growth expanding into 6 locations throughout the greater Atlanta area. This year brings increased growth as we expand into several new locations and we are looking for physicians to help carry our mission into these new markets.

We are currently looking for a full-time physician to provide coverage for one of or new locations in Carrolton, GA.

Conveniently located just 45 minutes outside of Atlanta, Carrolton is home to a population of over 27,000. In Carrolton you will discover beautiful hiking and biking trails, winery and brewery tours, live music, festivals and the home of the University of West Georgia.

Hours: Mon-Sat 8-8

Sun 8-5

Must be comfortable seeing both pediatric and adult cases.

Occupational Medicine including DOT certifications and Workers Compensation (no previous Work Comp experience required)

3-4 patients per hour at peak times

Full-time 3 shifts per week

Requirements:

• Unrestricted Georgia Medical License or ability to obtain
• BE/BC Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Current DEA
• Will require DOT certification which can be obtained after hire
• Procedures including suturing, splinting, etc.
• ACLS, PALS if not Emergency Medicine Board Certified.
