An esteemed Private Practice in Roanoke, VA is looking for a best in class Permanent MD for a Urgent Care assignment. Quick Facts: Specialty(s): Urgent Care ; Facility Type: Private Practice; Location: Roanoke, VA. Job Description: We have a permanent Primary Care / Urgent Care opportunity located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Below is some information on the opportunity. Most of the patients are repeat patients and use the center for primary care to the physician should have a strong primary care background as well as Urgent Care. The facility is open 8am to 8pm M-F and 8a-5p Sat and Sun.
• Most patients are between the ages of 20 and 60
• Must be BC or BE (must have at least completed a Residency in FP or IM
• Must be able to see peds
• Hours are 8am to 8pm M-F and 8am to 5pm Sat and Sun
• Will see 30 - 40 patients per day on average between the MD and NP. If Dr wants to make more money they will get a scribe and doctor can work alone.
• ACLS required
• Will work 2 weekends per month
• When off on the weekend shift ends at 1pm on Friday and do not return until 1pm on Monday.; Requirements: BC/BE: BC/BE
