URGENT CARE NEWARK DELAWARE
We are seeking qualified urgent care physicians for several sites within a small radius of Wilmington Delaware. tHERE ARE five medical aid units (Urgent Care Centers) and we have opportunities for candidate at each location.
Physicians will provide and manage direct patient care (all ages), including injuries, illnesses, physicals and screening exams and be expected to perform therapeutic procedures including splinting, suturing, casting, splints, and other orthopedic appliances.
Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions
Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow-up care, and ordering diagnostic tests
Manage private, pre-employment, and worker’s compensation patients effectively will do physicals but not psychiatrist clearances. Workman comp injuries only, not follow up or duty determinations
Supervise PA & NP’s appropriate and abide by all associated rules and regulations (Refer patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate)
Most locations are open 8am-8pm 7 days a week, we seek both Fulltime & Part-time physicians for a variety of schedules.
Shift options are 8, 10 or 12 hours in length, weekend shift is one day every 2nd weekend
