Your next locum tenens opportunity awaits in Michigan! A hospital is looking for a cardiovascular/thoracic surgeon to begin coverage in late November. Hours include 24 hour call coverage from 7a - 7a. The provider will be on call the entire duration of the assignment, and will have to be ready for anything that walks through the door. You will handle mainly consults but do get emergencies. Procedures you will have to see include thoracic/vascular aortic procedures without bypass, descending thoracic/abdominal repairs, peripheral vascular procedures, aortic surgeries, TVARS, rib plating, vascular repairs from trauma, and aortic repairs.
