The Allegheny Health Network is recruiting a third full-time Vascular Surgeon to join our team serving the Erie area. Increased demands amongst our patients for advanced technological procedures create an opportunity for our vascular surgeons to be at the forefront of cutting-edge medicine.

The vascular surgery practice at St Vincent Hospital, includes two full-time vascular surgeons and three full-time advanced practice providers, performs a wide range of open and endovascular procedures including a high volume of carotid and aortic aneurysm surgeries. The practice is closely interconnected with the practice in Pittsburgh, including joint training of AHN vascular surgery residents, combined conferences, and close collaboration on complex cases.

Job Duties

• Excellence in the entire spectrum of vascular surgery, including thoracic and abdominal aneurysms, carotid artery disease, dialysis access, peripheral vascular disease, and venous disease
• Most endovascular cases are performed in the hospital’s state-of-the-art hybrid operating room
• The vascular surgeons are well supported by dedicated physician extenders and office nurses
• The vascular surgery faculty trains “0+5” integrated residents

Job Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Pennsylvania License
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Vascular Surgery
