This is an extraordinary opportunity for a trauma/critical care fellowship trained surgeon to join 4 surgeons in their long standing, well respected general surgery practice- in a much sought-after location. In this hospital employed position, the BC/BE candidate will be offered a generous salary and incentive plan in addition to an excellent, comprehensive benefits package.
- 8-10 in house trauma shifts per month.
- 5 weekday shifts
- 1 Weekend Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Would be back up only on 1 day of the 3-day shift.
- Would round on the group’s patients still in house as well as take clinic call during these shifts.
- At least ½ day of trauma follow up clinic per week.
- Open to moving into a Trauma Medical Director role if an opportunity becomes available.
- Is comfortable with building a practice and willing to help generate referrals from secondary service areas.
