We are working with a busy trauma facility in Michigan in need of 2-3 trauma surgeons to assist with locum tenens coverage. The need is for 1-2 weeks of 24-hour trauma call. Shifts will be split into days from 7am-5pm and nights from 5pm-7am, with a 15-minute reponse time and an apartment available on campus. We will accept candidates who are board eligible in surgical critical care or board certified in general surgery with trauma experience.
The facility is part of a three-hospital regional health system with 1,778 licensed beds, more than 14,000 full-time equivalent employees and nearly 3,100 physicians, including 500 employed physicians in the Medical Group and more than 2,600 private-practice physicians.
This facility has numerous community-based medical centers in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties, family practice and internal medicine practices, five nursing centers, a research institute, home care services and hospice.
