Associate Medical Director for a Trauma Program Upstate NY
  • Assist with clinical responsibilities and administrative duties
  • Level II Trauma Program
  • 80% responsibility with Trauma Surgery and 20% with General Surgery
  • Trauma Program admits approximately 1100 patients annually
  • Trauma Surgery panel provide support from Advanced Practice Providers.
  • New position to assist a growing program with an interest in developing greater depth in performance improvement and quality assurance, as well as for future succession planning.
This position will join our group of over 400 healthcare providers in 30+ medical and surgical specialties in multiple locations. We have a strong market presence in the region and an excellent referral base with an outstanding clinical and administrative support staff. There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research.

Position requirements:
BE/BC in General Surgery; preferred Trauma and/or Surgical Critical Care Fellowship training.
Previous leadership experience in an accredited Trauma Program is preferred.
