This Regional medical center in east GA is currently seeking a Trauma Medical Director to lead their Trauma team. Not every hospital is prepared to treat trauma patients, but we have a specially trained team to care for your serious emergencies. As the only American College of Surgeons Verified Level II Trauma Center in the CSRA, we have the proven expertise to save lives. As a state-recognized trauma center, we provide a higher level of care for the most critically injured patients.

Qualified Candidates:
- Must be BC/BE General Surgery and BC/BE Surgical Critical Care
- Must hold current ATLS certification
- Preferred 4+ years of experience in an ACS Verified Center
- Be willing to combine administrative and surgical duties
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

Fully-staffed 24/7 with board-certified trauma surgeons and a team of experienced professionals, life-saving surgery is available within minutes of arrival. Patients are cared for in two dedicated trauma bays in our Emergency Department. The board-certified trauma surgeons are supported by our experienced emergency medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, specially trained critical care and emergency nurses and other trauma trained professionals.

The trauma care experts also work closely with their partners in the field -- emergency medical service providers -- to deliver coordinated, specialized treatment to patients who need Level II trauma care.
