Osceola Regional Medical Center is an affiliate of HCA, the nation’s largest healthcare network with more than 163 hospitals. The hospital offers comprehensive stroke center designation with Neurointerventionalists, a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility within the facility, PICU and dedicated Neuro/ Trauma ICU.

Trauma Program:
- 408-bed Joint Commission accredited facility
- State Verified Level II Trauma Center
- 12 hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hr secondary call from home with 30 min response (rarely called in)
- Emergency General Surgery covered 14 days/mo by Trauma team
- 1630 admissions per year
- 24-hour APP coverage (working with surgeons)
- Averaging 1.5-2 trauma alerts per day
- Opportunity to foster an Elective General Surgery practice
- Residents in General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and others
Trauma Surgeon Criteria:
- Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Preferred
- ATLS Required
