General/Trauma Surgeon wanted for City conveniently near San Francisco Bay & Sacramento,a great family town with good schools, great weather, and affordable housing, the City has their own AAA Baseball Team, professional symphony, Live theater and plenty of outdoors activities to include nearby Water sports, Snow skiing and golf and only 60 minutes to the San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento
Join the largest General Surgery/Trauma Surgery group in the Central Valley, Mixed practice includes trauma, acute care surgery, and general surgery, Level I or II Trauma Center training/experience required, (Fellowship training in Trauma/Critical Care, Colorectal surgery, or Surgical Oncology a plus). Must take equitable share of ER Trauma/General Surgery call 1 in 7 which is compensated, Hospital-based Trauma PAs assist with Call coverage; first assist duties in OR, Hospital is a 465-bed ACS verified Level II Trauma Center
Compensation package includes salary guarantee (based on FMV guidelines), Medical Foundation manages all administrative duties for physicians including marketing, staffing, billing/ collecting, etc., relocation package, full health/dental/vision benefits package, 401k, deferred compensation plan, CME allowance, and malpractice/tail insurance coverage, after guarantee period Income is based on productivity (w/RVU model)
