Good day. I am contacting you regarding an immediate need for Trauma Surgery Call Coverage in Pennsylvania. Great facility located right outside Philadelphia.

Trauma Surgery – Locums Positions Details – Pennsylvania:

This need is for an In-house Trauma Surgeon for a Level II Trauma Center

Responds to Level I & Level II alerts, and trauma consults from ED. Also in-house Trauma Service coverage, with an average daily census of 12

Trauma Surgeon in house at night. Trauma Physician Assistant on duty from 7am – 11pm.

Prefer local locum from PA or familiar with PTSF (Pennsylvania Trauma System Foundation) Standards.

This need is for approximately 2 shifts per week; facility prefers 1 locum who can fulfill need. Flexible scheduling based on your availability. .

Surgeon needs to be experienced with chest tube insertion, central line insertion, PA catheter placement, and ventilation management.

Facility can do emergency credentialing

BC in General Surgery or Surgical Critical Care (Trauma) or BE within 5 years of residency - Required

PA license - Required

BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS - Required

DEA - Required
