Trauma Surgeon Locums Job in Colorado | Starts ASAP

Job Description for Assignment #86983:
-- Coverage starts: as soon as credentialed
-- Board Certification or Board Eligibility required
-- Colorado licensed highly preferred
-- Trauma Level II
-- Seeking multiple physicians
-- 24 hour shifts
-- 15 shifts per month
-- We will present with your preferred availability
-- Daily patient volume: 20
-- Support staff: Anesthesia and OR staff
-- 150+ Licensed Beds
-- Estimated # of ER Visits: 70,000+
-- Estimated # of inpatient surgeries: 1,200+
-- Estimated # of outpatient surgeries: 1,800+
-- Experience: Blunt trauma surgeries, critical care certified is preferred but not required, extensive knowledge of surgical procedures, manage different types of injuries, no minimum trauma cases required
-- ATLS is required
-- Support: APP support during the day, team consists of a 4 surgeon model, with 3 providers being locums, 1 employed as the Medical Director. Surgeon will be working solo during shift.
-- Coverage: Monthly cover 15 days per month, 24-hour shifts, (open to 12-hour shifts with night on calls) Averaging about 10-12 consults for trauma and acute care surgery combined in a 24-hour period. Very minimum call-in of the back-up surgeon
-- Duration: April, May but open to summer months due to transition of new vendor on boarding
