Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a BE/BC Transplant Surgery fellowship-trained physician to join our growing team of exceptional clinicians and staff in Albuquerque, NM.

What We’re Seeking:

  • Must be BC/BE
  • Must be Transplant Fellowship trained
  • Experience in Kidney and Kidney Pancreas Transplant Surgery and Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy surgery and General Surgery
  • Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
  • Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico

Practice Highlights

  • Call schedule 1-2 weeks including weekends per month
  • Transplant team, including providers, participate in outreach programs around the state of New Mexico to educate patients, community providers, and dialysis units about the Presbyterian Transplant program
  • 35-55 transplants a year; 80% Medicare primary
  • 60-65% office based
  • 30% inpatient
  • System-Wide EPIC EMR
