Thoracic Surgery opening in Virginia - Located in Danville, VA - Greensboro, NC 47m; Raleigh 74m - Full-time, permanent position - Seeking a BC/BE Thoracic (non-cardiac) Surgeon with Vascular experience - Assume an existing practice - Experienced surgeon, who will focus on both thoracic and vascular surgery, will enjoy the support of an Advanced Practice Provider and working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings About the Hospital: An accredited Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, is a community facility with 150 primary care and specialty care physician affiliates located in south central Virginia- near the NC border. The Danville campus is also home to ACGME accredited Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs. About the Community: Now proudly serving approximately 185,000 in beautiful, Southside Virginia, our blended rural and midsized community (on the border of NC) is in the process of a very exciting revitalization and growth, especially in our historic River District. We are surrounded by gorgeous farmland, just over an hour from Raleigh / Durham and (among many other attractions) we have one of the best off road bike trails and YMCAs in the country!
