Will you answer the call for The Army Medical Department? The Army needs Thoracic Surgeons to serve full time or part-time on a Medical Team. Thoracic Surgery is a top priority for Army Medicine and is one of our most critical areas. The Army Medical Corps is designed for opportunity to grow in your field, work with unique cases, mentor and/or be mentored while maintaining your full time civilian career (serving part-time). You can give back by taking care of the Soldiers and their families on a local part-time basis (or full-time) with the Army Medical Corps.
Many of our applicants are established in their careers looking for opportunities to give back to their country. We also have programs for residents, and even special units designed for medical professionals that require a maximum flexibility in the way they serve.

FULLY LICENSED:
- Student Loan Repayment up to 250K for Reserves
- Student Loan Repayment up to 125K for Active Duty
- Reserves Annual Bonus 75K
- Active Duty Annual Bonus 400K for 4 yr commitment

- Monthly Drill Pay for Reserve or Full time pay and benefits with no overhead for Active Duty

RESIDENTS:
Reserve (Part-time )commitment:
- Monthly Stipend of over $2400 for (Around $30,000 additional income while completing residency)
- Student Loan Repayment up to $250,000
Active Duty (Full-time) Commitment:
- Annual grant of 45K (Must be PGY-2 or higher)
- Monthly Stipend of over $2400
**Minimal "Army" requirements in residency. Focus on your profession, and serve your time back after residency is completed.
