South Georgia Medical Center has an exceptional practice opportunity for a board eligible/certified Cardio Thoracic Surgeon.
Opportunity Profile:
- 418-licensed bed health system
- They serve 400,000 residents in a 15-county medical service area covering South Georgia and North Florida.
- They offer robotic-assisted surgeries, a renowned open-heart surgery program, thriving comprehensive Pearlman Cancer Center and other advanced services normally found only in metropolitan hospitals.
- Must be USA Board eligible/certified in cardio thoracic surgery
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia
- Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record is a significant plus.
- Full-time position
- Joining 2 CTS surgeons and 1 Vascular surgeon
- Ability to back up Vascular surgeon is a plus
- Working with an excellent support staff including your own NP or PA
- State of the art facilities: VS/Hybrid Operating Room (GE),imaging, and a dedicated peripheral cath lab
- Beautiful new office next to the hospital with a full service non-invasive vascular lab and 3 full-time vascular ultra-sonographers
