A clinic in Michigan is looking for a cardiothoracic surgeon who is able to provide locum tenens coverage for approximately four months starting in early July with a possible extension. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see between fifteen and twenty adult and geriatric patients for a variety of cases including call consults, daily rounds and urgent surgeries. The locum tenens physician will work two weeks of 24 hour call per month. Call is not on campus-calls, providers are able to take call from hotel but may need to come back to hospital as needed in the on-call time. This facility uses Cerner EMR.
