CoxHealth is seeking a BE/BC CardioThoracic surgeon to join their Cardiology Department. The department consists of two CardioThoracic surgeons, four vascular surgeons, seven interventional and non-interventional cardiologists, and one electrophysiologist. This physician group conducts more than 4,000 procedures annually.

The surgeon should be able to perform a variety of procedures including:

• Thoracic Surgery
• Complex valve repair and replacement
• Minimally invasive valve surgery
• Aortic procedures including complex aneurysms and dissections
• Coronary artery bypass grafting
• TAVR program support

Physicians provide coverage to one hospital, Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, the level 1 trauma, level 1 stroke and level 1 STEMI center for CoxHealth system. Cox South Hospital has three operating rooms, including a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room, specially constructed with all the traditional operating room capabilities plus the advanced imaging equipment found in a cardiac catheterization lab.
