Job details:

• BC/BE General Surgeon or Oncology Surgery
• 3 Surgeons in the group currently
• New state-of-the-art cancer center with medical oncologists and radiation oncologists on staff
• Practice radius covers two hospitals
• Typical procedures cover thyroid, parathyroid, breast, liver, pancreas, BI malignancies, colorectal cancers, skin and soft tissue cancers, and port placement
• 1:4 call schedule – one week of Acute Care/Trauma call per month with back up as needed
• Desire to grow the Oncology Surgery program at the new cancer center, establish referral patterns and encourage growth as a leader in the surgical oncology community
• Develop referral relationships with local PCP a gastrointestinal physicians
• Collegial environment with a multispecialty approach to patients including an active oncology clinic
• Attendance at tumor board would be expected
