This North Florida Medical Center near Jacksonville is seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained Interventional Neurologist or Endovascular Neurosurgeon, needed to educate, treat and provide stroke treatment and interventions on stroke patients in our service area. This surgeon will be part of the corporate Physician Services Group employed network and enjoy all of the benefits of being employed through the systemA - competitive compensation and benefits package, malpractice coverage, PTO, CMEs, and relocation assistance will be provided. The Medical Center is the only hospital in Clay County to be a designated comprehensive stroke center by AHCA. The designation ensures that stroke victims will be seen quickly and receive care from staff that has been specially trained to care for patients suffering from a stroke.

Founded in 1974, the Medical Center has grown from a small community hospital to a top healthcare provider in northeast Florida. We are a full-service, acute-care hospital with 317 inpatient beds. The hospital has 170 private rooms. There are nine labor, delivery and recovery room suites for new mothers and a seven-bed, Level-2 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for premature babies and those born with special needs. There is also a 24-bed psychiatric unit, 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and 20 intensive care unit (ICU) beds.
