Seeking an Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join a growing neurosurgery team in Eastern North Carolina. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery and have endovascular fellowship training.
Highlights include:
• Employed position
• Hospital privileges at 974-bed level 1 trauma center
• Established team of 8 board certified/eligible neurosurgeons with dedicated outpatient/inpatient Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant support
• Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center accredited
• Established stroke team including a dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeon, an interventional neurologist joining in Summer 2019, and a dedicated inpatient stroke neurology team
• 24 bed Neurocritical Care Unit led by Neurointensivists
• 24/7 dedicated neuro interventional room
• 1 Phillips Biplane with 2nd biplane under construction for Fall 2018
• Large 29-county referral network including 7 regional hospitals and numerous outpatient practices
• Stroke Call 1:3 and General Neurosurgery Call 1:7
