VHS is looking to build a pool of Neurosurgeons who have endovascular capabilities for both open Cerebrovascular and Endovascular coverage with a heavy surgical emphasis.
MUST send provider flights and lodging info 4 weeks prior to start
- Ongoing sporadic dates
- Facility is preferably looking for a Neurosurgeon with endovascular capabilities.
- Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient.
- Heavy surgical emphasis
- Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist.
- Provider must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
- 100% adult
- 50% trauma
- 100% inpatient
- 0-5 hospital based patients per day
- EMR: Epic
- ~90 day credentialing timeframe
- Will pay for full travel
- See PD for required procedures

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified Neurological Surgery ABNS, NES - Required
- Active CO license - highly preferred at time of submission, but willing to license
- ACLS, BLS - Required
- Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient. - Required
- Clean background/no malpractice - Required, willing to consider providers with 1 malpractice case settled under $300k.
- Must indicate that the provider is aware and comfortable with a Heavy surgical emphasis - REQUIRED
- COVID vaccinated - Required
