Lee Health is seeking a Neurosurgeon with Endovascular training!

Position Information:

LPG – Neurosurgery is seeking a full time physician board eligible/board certified in neurosurgery to join their busy 4 physicians and 8 advanced provider practice. The practice has outpatient clinics and covers the inpatient services at both Lee Memorial Hospital and Gulf Coast Medical Center. This position covers trauma and stroke call for the Health System. Ideal candidates for this position will have endovascular neurosurgery fellowship training, and be interested in general neurosurgery, brain/spine trauma and ability to cover the stroke program.

Hospital Summary:

Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 624 bed acute care facility that is centrally located in Fort Myers FL. Gulf Coast Medical Center houses the Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic services, and general surgery. The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care and minimally invasive catheter procedures to treat stroke, as well as a dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit. GCMC is a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with 2 certified Primary Stroke Centers at Cape Coral Hospital and Lee Memorial Hospital.

Lee Health has the area’s only Level II Trauma Center and DNV Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. Lee Memorial Hospital is a 362 bed Level II Trauma Center serving Lee County and the surrounding areas, 24/7 ER with exceptionally trained staff, and houses the Rehabilitation Hospital. A mainstay in our community for more than 100 years, Lee Memorial has a rich history of serving our communities.
