Opening: Neurosurgery Physician

Start Date: 90-days from acceptance due to privileging

Location: central Colorado

Facility: Inpatient, Hospital setting

Hours: 24-hour Call, 7a - 7a

Length: Coverage will be 3-4 days at a time, 7-10 days per month. Possible clinic in the future, but just hospital Neurotrauma coverage for now- unrestricted call, 15 min response time.

Details: An award winning 413-bed hospital that has been recognized nationally for quality, research and outcomes is looking to credential 3-4 neurosurgery locums candidates to a create a coverage pool for their Neurosurgery needs. Must have Level 1 trauma experience within the last 5 years. Level I distinction recognizes that the hospital has the ability to treat severe and complex injuries. No more than 5 years of locums work within the last 7 years. Clean background with no malpractice. Providers MUST be comfortable in a HIGH ACUITY, HIGH QUALITY work environment. The facility is currently Level 2, but operate as a Level 1.

Credentials: Active Colorado medical license. BLS, ACLS. Board certified Neurosurgery.

Compensation and Benefits: Travel, Housing and Medical Malpractice provided.
